You will be working out of the client’s site/office in San Francisco, CA, reporting directly to the Program Manager and working alongside other Project and Construction Managers and Client staff. You’ll be responsible not only for the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the oversight of the execution of construction through completion in accordance with program objectives. You will manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related coordination, issues, disputes, and disagreements both internal and external to the project. As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also:
• Monitor and attend construction discipline cluster groups (meetings)
• Liaison with IORs, special inspectors, Authority's Having Jurisdiction, Client and Contractor field staff as well as coordinate with adjacent Client construction and Jacobs/Client construction management teams.
• Verify compliance with Project Plans and Specifications, Project Delivery Plans, including QA/QC Plans, Safety Plans, Logistics Plans, etc.
• Coordination with Client Facilities, Operations, Community and Government Relations and Environmental Health & Safety
• Assist with Schedule Updates, Reviews and Management
• Change Order Review
• Assist with safety and environmental health issues
• Assist with field review of QA & QC for work in place
•Coordinateclient/owner furnish scopes, such as IT Equipment, Laboratory or Medical Equipment, Furniture or other similar scopes
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent on the job training)
• 7+ years of related construction project management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Proven Healthcare construction building experience
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, LCI-CPC, DBIA Professional, or Professional Engineer (PE)
