What you'll do
As the Business Developer, you will be the key point of contact for driving business growth and solution adoption within the automotive and manufacturing industries. Leveraging your extensive industry know-how, you will support the sales cycle, from first potential analysis to solution advisor activities, and help customers maximize value from their SAP investments.
- Provide deep industry-specific expertise to drive new sales and solution adoption for key automotive and manufacturing customers
- Develop and execute demand generation strategies aligned with business objectives
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to define target audiences and messaging
- Support the Account Team by presenting solutions and hosting events to identify, qualify, and drive adoption of SAP offerings
- Establish yourself as an industry thought leader, refining account strategies and collaborating on overall themes and competitive differentiation
- Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine the viability of opportunities and further investment
- Deliver both standard and customized solution demonstrations that illustrate the value of SAP for these industries
- Maintain customer relationships to promote the vision of SAP solutions and ensure enthusiasm for renewals
- Utilize digital assets such as demos, presentations, and other content throughout customer engagements
What you bring:
- Professional experience within the automotive or manufacturing industries, preferably with a background in software/IT solutions
- SAP product experience and/or 3-5 years of relevant industry/solutions experience
- Strong understanding of Cloud, Hosted Services, and Software as a Service/Platform as a Service models in a Business-to-Business environment
- Recognized as an industry expert with a proven track record of success
- Ability to create compelling narratives and themes for customer interactions
- Quick understanding of customer business goals and skilled at aligning solutions to meet them
- Passion and energy in all customer interactions
