Specific responsibilities include:
- Perform controller tuning, performance characterization, and troubleshooting for a nanometer-level precision motion stage.
- Define requirements for stage testing and drive the development of data processing tools in Python.
- Characterize dynamic performance at the inspection station level. Use a combination of testing and analysis to understand observed behavior. Define and drive the implementation of improvements if needed.
- Work with a cross-functional team to bring prototype systems online and participate in the testing of complex calibrations and algorithms.
- Follow the initial systems through Alpha test, delivery and Beta test at one or more customer sites.
Preferred qualifications:
- A background in precision motion control with hands-on experience integrating, testing, and optimizing the performance of complex mechanisms.
- Experience working with semiconductor equipment in cleanroom environments
- Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink tools for controller development and tuning. Demonstrated ability to develop Python scripts for data analysis
