Vehicle Dynamics Controls Calibration Engineering consist both of virtual and physical vehicle testing to deliver brake control functions and features seamlessly into the vehicle to the expectations of our customers. As a calibration engineer, you will collaborate with your software algorithm and hardware engineers along with vehicle integration and powertrain groups to develop an optimized performance for the vehicle.
You will also develop new calibration and verification methods using a mix of vehicle, HIL and simulation to optimize the most effective solution for calibration and validation of the features. There is direct calibration of the stability control system consisting of roll and yaw control along with other features on all surfaces including high mu (VDA), mid mu (off road trails, sand, gravel), and low mu (snow, ice).Also, you will be responsible for sign off and direction of the supplier calibrations of ABS and traction control. You codevelop the calibration with the supplier to seamlessly integrate the system on all surfaces.
