SrAdvanced Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing Experion Local Control Network (ELCN) and C300PM Evolution projects based on the knowledge on TPN system architecture, RNOS operating system, Data Hiway network protocols.Work on translating and reverse engineering the existing 68000 assembly language code.
Collaborate with an Experion Local Control Network (ELCN) requirement analyst to get detailed knowledge of the business requirement, and customer use cases and understand the functional and non-functional requirements.
Closely work with a Total Plant Solution Distributed Control System (TPS DCS) architect to identify the architectural risks and work on the key architectural and design decisions to mitigate the risks.
Follow Agile and Scrum methodology during complete development phase of ELCN and C300PM Evolution projects.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must havea Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, ora related field, and 8 years of experience with product developmentengineering. Must have 5 years of experience with the following: experience inability to understand/learn legacy system software and ability to write C, C++,windows, Firmware and embedded Linux code; Total Distributed Control(TDC),Total Plant Solution (TPS) and Experion; experienced in large scalelegacy system migrations and deployments; working knowledge in Virtualization,Performance characterization and automation; experience working in an AgileEnvironment, Multi-tasking, Planning and working without direct supervision;and knowledge of software configuration management and change managementpractices. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
