JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

· Finance Business Partner for Honeywell

· Provide supervision to UPT / STS China business finance support incl forecasting, Rev Rec and order booking policies compliance and driving project execution excellence (i.e EAC and project milestone billing etc). Provide coaching to UOP China BAP team to deliver value-added analysis and support business decision. Be the focal with UOP Global BAP team and help cascade down any financial planning and analysis tasks / guidance from UOP Global team.

  • Provide supervision to ESS KR finance to maintain the statutory compliance of UOP Korea and PMT Korea legal entities including tax operation and statutory financial statement. Work with Korea Finance to provide finance partnership to UOP Korea business in particular UPT/STS project execution.

· Develop a robust royalty compliance process in Asia; maintain database & binding agreement affecting royalty payments, review customer operations reports/lab reports /correspondence regarding yields and validate actuals in production against agreement with sales and Global Royalty Accountant or through site or desktop audits.

· Supervise finance support to UMSB plant in Penang including supporting plant MOR and assist & monitoring monthly accounting close & ensuring the accurate reporting of financial results within related schedules while meeting both local statutory, U.S GAAP and Honeywell corporate policies including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

· Support local, US Tax team and Government Relations to comply with reporting requirements.

· Interact with external auditors & internal/external service providers including preparation of annual local statutory accounts & support audit process.

· Expected to manage special projects as assigned.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

· Familiar with Oil Refinery Unit Operations/ process is a plus

· Hands-on, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with career aspiration.

· Strong project management skills and able to understand legal agreements.

· High level of initiative & problem solving.

· Results oriented with strong process improvement mindset (change agent)

· Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple demands

· Ability to work under pressure, flexible in working hours, prioritize workload & meet tight deadlines

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate to all level of the organization.

· Highly proficient in information technology financial applications particularly SAP and Excel financial models.

YOU MUST HAVE

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Extensive experience in performing similar roles.

WE VALUE

· 4-year bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA or equivalent is preferred but not required.

· At least 15 years of diverse finance and accounting experience in progressively responsible roles, MNC or accounting firm experience is preferred including audit experience

· Commercial business experience (i.e business analysis, financial planning & analysis) is highly desired

· Knowledge of Project Accounting

· Knowledge of Malaysia & Singapore statutory & Asia tax laws and regulations
