Finance is:

The guardian and communicator of key financial information and controls for Citi, serving both an internal and external client base.

The driver of franchise-level decisions on capital planning, liquidity, budgeting, tax, strategic direction and policy management.

Citi is looking for Financial Management Associates (FMA) to join Finance in Costa Rica. The Financial Management Associate (FMA) Program is a global leadership development program for MBA or related master’s degree discipline candidates designed to create a pipeline of future Citi Finance leaders with experience in multiple Finance disciplines. The FMA program is unique due to the various business/region/function perspectives it offers.

The program consists of three six-month rotations in which FMAs can contribute to multiple Finance disciplines. Each rotation must be in a Finance role that is different between rotations. This is done to maximize FMA development opportunities, accelerate learning and allow FMAs to quickly contribute to Citi Finance priorities.

Upon successful completion of the program, FMAs are considered for placements in Citi Finance for a Finance role.

Several key elements of the FMA program include:

  • Access: To Citi Senior Finance Leaders.
  • Exposure: To global perspectives to build relationships.
  • Leadership: Our FMA’s are encouraged to develop management skills, curiosity and proactivity.
  • Empowerment: We challenge FMA’s to be involved in the fast-paced analytical and financial environment.
