Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end partner experience and identify the gaps to the future state. This includes programs, benefits and financial incentives, digital experience, and live engagement

  • Engage the ecosystem team and Red Hat as a whole to build buy-in for this experience vision

  • Aligned with the vision, you will help set the transformation agenda, maintaining a prioritized view of change initiatives and the resources required to complete them

  • Orchestrate overall transformation activities and cadences, provide consistent tracking and reporting across of initiatives and communicate updates to leadership

  • Make resourcing decisions where necessary

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve interdependencies and issues amongst initiatives

  • Own the partner pricing strategy, ensuring cross-partner equity and pricing parity, own the partner incentive strategy and approval governance, including determining how market development funds (MDF), rebates, sales development funds, etc. are applied to optimally manage our partner ecosystem growth strategy

  • You will work across the ecosystem team, regional sales teams, operations team, IT team, and HR team to deliver these initiatives

  • Oversee the regular roll-out of the experience improvements to the partners, including change management, communication, and enablement

  • Establish capabilities to enable a continuous improvement mindset across the team

  • Strong people managements skills, that will drive an inclusive team culture and dynamic

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus

  • Experience and deep understanding of partner ecosystem management, competitor strategies and programs, enterprise software sales cycles, and go-to-market (GTM) models, to include, 10+ years of experience working in partner management in a global, matrixed software organization

  • Record of delivering high priority project in a complex, global organization

  • Significant experience with and exposure to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), virtualization, cloud computing, and other relevant technologies

  • Solid understanding of how software is used to solve business problems and how cloud technologies are shifting the IT landscape, including an understanding of Red Hat’s portfolio of offerings

  • Ability to plan, set priorities, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve problems to produce measurable results

  • Solid stakeholder engagement and management experience within a matrixed reporting organizational structure

  • Solid communication skills and ability to translate, summarize, and communicate complex ideas, clearly articulating business value

  • Strong demonstrated skills in people management and the ability to build a team with a healthy dynamic and mission

  • Proven ability to build credibility with executives, industry analysts and associates, and internal C-suite stakeholders

  • Partner-first mindset and a great sense of how partners think, operate, and deliver end-user value

  • Excellent networking skills to uncover partner opportunities and resources that benefit the partner organization and Red Hat - Solid leadership skills, ambassador, and role model of Red Hat’s unique culture #LI-REMOTE #LI-AF1

The salary range for this position is $192,400.00 - $327,110.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
