As a Software Developer, you will be part of a core team of developers, architects and product managers building the next generation of market-leading security products.
Your expertise at building highly automated, large-scale, high-performance, and reliable systems on OpenShift / Kubernetes will be critical, as you integrate core technologies in Threat Management. In this senior role, you will be expected to display a high level of technical knowledge and leadership as well as being an excellent hands-on developer.
You will work on developing our IBM Security QRadar Suite – a modernized threat detection and response solution, designed to unify the security analyst experience and accelerate their speed across the full incident lifecycle.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven several years hands-on development experience in:
working with shell scripts and automation languages including Python, Ansible, Golang, etc – building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines efficiently in Linux environment.
at least one major cloud provider from AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure or GCP, with focus on implementing and optimizing cloud-based solutions.
Kubernetes clusters or Red Hat OpenShift Platform, writing Kubernetes operators.
relational databases (Postgres), key-value (Redis) and message systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with a global team

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Knowledge and work experience:
working with infrastructure as code with Terraform, JavaScript & Go, implementing and automating deployments on Kubernetes using tools like Helm or Kustomize
RESTful API, Docker, Jenkins, microservices, GitOps architecture and tools like ArgoCD.
on security and compliance, working with security scanning tools and validating the software supply chain of software
with Prometheus metrics and Thanos storage, setting up observability systems based on opentelemetry or other tools.
exposure to Open Source (adoption and contributions)
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent experience
