Please review the following job description:
  • Provide process, design and analysis support for developing solutions for interfacing business applications.
  • Drive requirements elicitation process for work efforts of all size and complexity.
  • Lead work on all phases of systems analysis up to the enterprise level of the organization's business processes and systems.
  • Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between line of business (LOB) and the Technology Delivery team.
  • Collaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and strategies.
  • Establish project and work requests requirements using document, business process and workflow analysis. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in requirements gathering activities.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with appropriate stakeholders to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions.
  • Prepare user interface diagrams, business process and workflow diagrams in support of small work requests or large scale project implementations.
  • Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical innovations, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business process owners and other stakeholders to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing of a solution that meets the business requirements. Assist/coordinate pre-planning activities.
  • Facilitate routine meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates on in-flight initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor junior level Business Analysts.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
  • Must have 6 years of progressive experience of IT positions with significant experience in software development.
  • Must have 4 years of experience performing/utilizing the following:
    • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Management, Relationship Management, Business Operations, Quality
    • Planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional and technical requirements.
    • Analyzing data, gathering requirements, and working with clients and technical teams to translate requirement into solution.
    • Working with financial institutions, applying knowledge of Payment infrastructure across all payment rails-Real Time payment/Fed/ACH using ISO 20022 messages.
    • PL/SQL and reading application models, Infer flows and writing complex queries.
    • Formal agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional Waterfall methodologies along with test driven development
    • Leading the delivery of high quality, effective deliverables on time and contributing to the development of cost-effective solutions.
    • Utilizing experience with: Visio; Agile tools including CA Rally and/or VersionOne; Advanced Excel, including writing excel macros; SQL Server Management Studio; ORACLE DB; XML, JSON, IBM MQ; Selenium, HP UFT/QTP, TOSCA, and SOAP UI; Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies; Microsoft Office software products; DynaTrace, Splunk, and Tableau; Front end web programming with HTML, JavaScript, and VBScript; APIs, IBM MQ, The Clearing house, and Global Pay Plus; and VBScripting looping, conditions, and standard functions.
  • Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
