We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Principal Control Engineering Consultant—Batteries and Renewables to provide expert guidance and support in the design, implementation, and optimisation of Battery and Renewables control systems. As a Principal Control Engineering Consultant—Batteries and Renewables, you will work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to assess their specific needs, develop control solutions, and ensure the successful integration of Batteries and Renewables with power grids and renewable energy sources. This role requires a deep understanding of power systems, energy storage technologies, control systems, and regulatory requirements.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates related to Battery and Renewables control and provide recommendations for system improvements and best practices.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Control Systems engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and their applications in energy storage systems.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimising control strategies for Battery and Renewables, energy storage technologies.
- Knowledge of power systems, grid integration, and renewable energy sources.
- Strong understanding of control system design principles, including feedback control, optimisation algorithms, and real-time monitoring.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols governing Battery and Renewables control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues related to Battery and Renewables control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record in delivering successful projects, meeting deadlines, and managing client expectations.
