These Capital Markets products include structured notes issued by Citi as well as OTC products.

We are looking for a VP or AVP level Salesperson with existing client relationships and client coverage experience. The ideal candidate should have:

  • a proven track record in servicing financial intermediaries and/or institutional investors
  • a good knowledge of all the segments targeted by the desk
  • a strong understanding of derivatives and of the various products issued in Latin America

The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to proactively develop and improve client relationships as well as the overall client experience when dealing with Citi.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to current broker dealer clients and potential prospects to market product ideas and to generate new leads.
  • Develop existing client relationships and onboard new ones including in Central and South America.
  • Price and execute transactions.
  • Interact with structuring, trading, legal and other relevant teams to constantly improve the platform
  • Offer a high-quality level of service/experience to existing and new clients of SFI.
  • Collaborate with the Client Management team to develop proper wallet data for our client base.
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Prior Sales experience at a financial services organization is a plus
  • Broad client relationships preferred
  • Experience in a client facing role working with the buy-side community
  • Self-Motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving skills
  • Must have or be able to obtain licenses required, Series 7, 63
  • Fluent in Spanish

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
