Advanced Project Engineer
The Redditch site specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of components for small-scale cooling infra-red devices used in guided weapons and thermal imaging systems, high pressure actuation systems, and satellite cryogenic systems. All of these can be delivered to both commercial and space/military markets.
Responsibilities:
Manage (along with the Project Engineer) the programmatic elements of all Redditch Engineering NPI programs, including budget, schedule adherence, and engineering/programmatic review cycle compliance.
Provide a level of technical understanding and oversight to ongoing engineering programs.
Identify opportunities for improvement in our current operations, and implement; drive efficiency, accountability, and excellence to standards.
Experience required:
Minimum business or engineering degree, with 5-10 years program management experience in a relevant industry desired
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
Understanding of general program management principles and skills, PMI-certified (or equivalent) preferred
Engineering background/experience desired but not required for the right candidate
