In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing large enterprise technology projects with Java.
  • Provides leadership and mentoring to engineers to grow architecture talent.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years experience in designing, building, and delivering cloud-native,micro-services-orientedsolutions at an enterprise scale for large financial services.
  • 3+ years of experience researching new technologies, performing proof-of-concepts, and recommending solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience with Capital Markets / Banking / Financial Services
  • 7+ years of experience in Core Java including REST API , Spring boot, data structures, multi-threading and exception handling
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and MongoDB including writing efficient and complex queries and optimizing database performance


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the regulatory and compliance requirements of the Financial Services Industry.
  • Strong comprehension within the network, compute, storage and database domains.
  • Hands on knowledge with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitHub co-pilot, Harness CD, Artifactory, Apigee integration.
  • Hands on experience with Private Cloud Kubernetes such as OpenShift Container Platform
  • Hands on experience building real-time streaming data pipelines and applications using Kafka, MQ, Solace
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work onsite at one of the posted locations

Pay Range

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
