As the Ultrasound Sr. Finance Manager - Capital Allocation, you will own the governance and tracking of spend on program investments versus initial business cases as well as support our Capital allocation decisions. In this role, you will report to the Ultrasound Executive Head of FP&A.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Rigorously assesses NPI business cases and stress tests against market and customer needs. Clearly, lays out financial returns for capital allocation decision making and monitors say/do execution through regular review of data and assumptions in PPM tool.

  • Continue to strengthen process to define NPI Costing on early development stages, improving quality of early development cost forecasts. Ensure global alignment of methodologies Support Tollgate say/do ratio analysis on cost estimates to implement best practices on new product developments.

  • Become the go-to person in the central Ultrasound Finance team on all capital allocation related topics, supporting directly our CFO, CTO, ULS FP&A Leader on making best capital prioritizations.

  • Support the annual budgeting and 3-year long term strategy and financial plan to deliver organic growth, margin, and cash in line with business expectations.

  • Prepare detailed analysis and backups in preparation for financial reviews.

  • Develop strong understanding of quarterly activities and provide insights on trends and business performance by key drivers as needed.

  • Support Ultrasound Finance and operational teams in Operating Mechanisms by driving consistent data and enhancing existing reporting capabilities for actuals and key KPIs.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Some experience of operating finance expertise and rigor

  • Accountable for delivering financial performance quarterly, annually, and longer term

  • Demonstrated depth and breadth in FP&A expertise from prior assignments

  • Ability to manage multiple high priorities and high visibility deliverables

  • Operates across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent executive presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
