As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, in Brno, you will be responsible for coding in C and working on embedded systems. You will play a crucial role in the design and development of software solutions that power innovative products in various industries. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of experience in software development.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using C programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of software to ensure high quality and reliability
- Work closely with hardware engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components
- Participate in code reviews to identify and address potential issues early in the development process
Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems
- Proficiency in C programming language, Python is a plus
- Strong understanding of hardware and software integration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
