As a Manufacturing Automation Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
Integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports Factory Automation software systems.
Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems.
Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs.
Serves as automation expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross-functional and cross-site teams.
Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.
Work on a 24x7 shift rotation (7am to 7pm, 7pm to 7am).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate technical/programming knowledge, including SQL queries, Oracle Stored Procedures, Python, C, C#, and PowerShell scripting (preferred).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
Resourceful, creative, and innovative in developing solutions.
Proficient in current IT technologies.
Ability to manage and run shifts.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing systems (DSS, MES, real-time dispatching systems like RTD) is a plus.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is an advantage.
