GDS Business Consulting – Business Transformation (Wealth and Asset Management)
- Partners with the team to deliver high quality work during the engagement while balancing overall project economics
- Actively reviews and explore opportunities to improve, optimize and enhance ways of working
- Provides status communications to project and business teams
- Practice development (support and participate in activities such as internal training & development, recruitment, etc.)
- Own and develop our offerings and assets
- Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and concisely; ability to prepare presentations for senior-level client stakeholders
- Undertaking sales origination, including working with client teams to identify opportunities
- Leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Define the Business Transformation GTM (Go to Market) proposition for GDS in partnership with vision of the member firms for the WAM sector
- Building the right business consulting capability (skills and competencies) at GDS for the WAM Sector in line with the Market trends and demand from EY member firms
- Lead all aspects of the WAM business transformation competency including hiring, personnel development, training, utilization, investments into future focus areas, relationship building with key stakeholders across the Globe
- Partner with the EY member firms across the Globe in responding to RFP pursuits and large strategic proposals
- Be responsible for the growth of the Business Transformation / Consulting competency at GDS for the WAM sector
Requirements
- Fluent written and verbal communication and presentation kills in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- 10 plus years of experience (with large Global Asset and Wealth Managers) in the areas of
- Front Office Transformation
- Portfolio Management Services – Experience in Charles River, Aladdin
- Middle Office Transformation
- Trade Processing
- Trade Confirmations
- Trade Settlements
- Asset Servicing (Security Reference Data, Corporate Actions, Pricing, Valuations)
- Reconciliations
- Performance and Attribution
- Back Office Transformation
- Fund Accounting with exposure to platforms like Temenos, Geneva, SimCorp
- Investor Accounting
- Transfer Agency with exposure to platforms like Temenos, NTAS etc
- Target Operating Model definitions for middle and back offices
- Current State Assessments
- Future State design and definitions
- Future State Operating Model along with Roadmaps for executions
- Large scale transitions and transformations in the middle and back office spaces
- Experience in driving large business transformational programs across Asset and Wealth Managers that has resulted in better customer/client experiences, cost optimizations, driving efficiencies, risk mitigations, higher controls etc with the ability to articulate the why, what, how and the outcomes of the exercise.
