The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Designing, developing, and maintaining tools and automation frameworks that enhance Simics developer productivity.
Contributing to the creation and evolution of methodologies that ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality simulation environments.
Driving initiatives and projects from design through implementation and deployment.
Supporting and collaborating with Simics developers across Intel to identify challenges and deliver practical, impactful solutions.
Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles, and redefine approaches.
Assessing risks and identifying efficient paths to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Active student in Computer Science,Computer/Electrical/ElectronicEngineering, or related engineering field.
At least 1 year of experience in software development and/or software validation (university projects count).
At least 1 year of experience in one of the following languages: C++, Python, or C (university projects count).
Intermediate to Advanced English level and communication skills.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience in Simics modelling, QEMU or other software simulation technologies.
Experience in system software development.
