As an Associate within the CIB R&R team, you will be responsible for liaising on all aspects of planning and executing deliverable production as well as assessing new regulatory requirements and expectations. This includes engagement with the CIB plan owners, Core Resolution & Recovery Teams, CIB Treasury and Liquidity, Legal, Commercial Treasury, and others to ensure timely delivery of the CIB Recovery Plan and tabletop exercise. You will contribute to and/or lead weekly Working Group sessions with these stakeholders to provide relevant CIB updates and understand key takeaways and next steps. You will be responsible for driving high standards and best practices across the various key deliverables associated with plan development.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Recovery planning processes, with focus on CIB deliverables, including becoming familiar with CIB inputs and identify areas of improvement, liaising with CIB and other stakeholders to identify inconsistencies or improvements across the plans, and partnering with CIB Treasury to deliver quantitative analysis.
- Coordinate amongst the line of business and support functions involved in the development and production of the CIB Recovery Plan. Lead CIB Working Group sessions for the Recovery Program. Partner with the team to leverage corresponding appendices and understand importance of production of such materials.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders when local regulatory requests arise related to Resolution and Recovery planning.
- Develop and implement a BAU operating model for Plan submissions. Establish metrics and monitor progress of R&R deliverables. Refine the governance and escalation framework.
- Lead ad hoc meetings with key stakeholders to drive forward the CIB R&R agenda.
- Collaborate with team members where agendas and objectives intersect.
- Develop materials for presentations to the CIB R&R Lead and other senior mgmt. forums.

- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, ability to synthesize data from many sources, design and draw persuasive conclusions for plans and presentation to CIB and firmwide executive management
- Knowledge of Recovery and Resolution Planning, including relevant FRB / FDIC / OCC regulations
- Proficiency in Workiva (Wdesk)
