Role and Responsibilities
The role will identify, pursue and implement strategies to generate incremental Online commercial performance through new product launches, as well as proposition, marketing, engagement and commercial initiatives. You will also be responsible for the guidance of key promotional campaigns such by setting the strategy and direction to subsidiaries on pricing strategy, proposition and liaising with EO and HQ to optimise activations and execution.
What will be your key deliverables?
Own the GTM planning and execution of innovative products (e.g. Galaxy A series, Galaxy Book4) for D2C online channels including:
Develop GTM guidance with appropriate proposition
Engage with subsidiaries to embrace the guidance. Review their GTM plan, facilitate pre-GTM sharing and share feedback to ensure successful and sustainable new product launches.
Set reasonable target for D2C online channel by subsidiary and monitor performances with timely feedback
Review GTM performances and develop deep dive post-mortem report with actionable insights
Oversee the promotional campaigns in European subsidiaries including:
Lead quarterly MX commercial briefing and summary sessions across Europe D2C teams
Summarise and review MX commercial plans and promotional calendar for each subsidiary
Represent MX division and share feedback to the strategic direction and creative assets of promotional campaigns
Identify and explore new propositions, external partnerships, and growth drivers. Develop business/commercial plan, and execution proposal. Engage subsidiaries to trial the new initiatives, analyse results and share the references with wider audience
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
We require:
Experience in eCommerce or digital marketing, ideally in consumer products industry, especially mobile experience products or consumer electronics
Intensive experience in strategy development and commercial planning
Commercial foresight with understanding of P&L and ability to analyse value and investment sensibility
Strong, data manipulation, interpretation and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle a wide array of data sources, to inform financial/business decisions
A self-starter, this role is in a part of the business that is acting like a start-up within a well-established organisation, so you are able to self-prioritise work, navigate ambiguity and speak to a wide range of partners
Strong communications skills which will enable:
Relationship building with all levels
Engagement with subsidiaries to trial new initiatives
Very strong resilience capability and sufficient time management skills
An understanding of and passion for the mobile and accessories product portfolio
Experience working in global/regional roles or within complex subsidiary set-up
Experience working within telecoms, or directly with Samsung in any capacity
Be proactive with identifying insights and opportunities to drive strategic and balanced D2C online business growth.
