Responsibilities

  • Fully developed professional, recognized as a technical and selling expert. Able to tackle complex issues, comprehensive business knowledge of medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory without appreciable direction.
  • Independently plan and develop market for existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs.
  • Prime contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff for technical, contract and project matters.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
  • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
  • Lead specialized project teams & provide technical leadership to Business Unit Heads.
  • Lead, guide and coach team members by facilitating training and providing feedback and guidance (role model, best practice sharing).

Key Skills & Experiences:

  • BS/BA degree in business/scientific specialization
  • More than 10 years of sales experience, ideally in medical device or healthcare industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a People Manager capacity/role, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • Business acumen and strategic sales planning skills and understanding of the market dynamics and opportunities.
  • Proven track record of planning and (over) achieving sales goals consistently.
  • Strong ability to engage and interact with customers in a variety of settings including tradeshows / conferences, market research, advisory boards, and field interactions.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong clinical aptitude and able to attend cases and provide support in the operating room.
