We will need a R&D Project Manager for our Remediate & Automation product Portfolio who will supervise Product releases along with several initiatives and smaller projects. This role will oversee and coordinate the various projects and other strategic initiatives we will see in Remediate & Automation Product portfolio. This role will also help to drive organizational change by helping with agile transformations, including helping to implement DevOps practices and principles
.


Key Responsibility/Role Expectation
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-project activities.
  • Develop and control deadlines, activities.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management.
  • Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors.
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.
  • Overseeing the creation and review of ongoing Product releases across the portfolio
  • Support with resource allocation for new projects, ensuring that people with the appropriate skills and experience are assigned. Track, record and approve timesheets relating directly to resource allocation.
  • Proactively identify and contribute to delivery of process improvements.
  • Oversee delivery of projects relating to product updates, technical Debt, Technology updates, to support our product offerings.
  • Assisting with defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Creating a detailed project timeline
  • Monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, and managing any deviations proactively.
  • Identify, assess, communicate, and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Adhere to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality assurance measures.
  • Staying informed about changes in BMC products, service offerings and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery and mitigating risks effectively

Required Skills:

Candidate having at least 4 years of experience in R&D Project Management in software industry is a must. Over industry experience that is expected is 7 years and above

Demonstrated mastery in project planning, capable of overseeing multiple complex projects, developing innovative planning strategies, and ensuring alignment with strategic organizational goals.

Experience in stakeholder engagement across multiple projects, leveraging communication to drive project support and resolve conflicts.

Keen eye on identifying advanced metrics and measures across multiple projects, utilizing balanced scorecards to drive strategic alignment and performance improvement.

Candidate with PMP certification, Agile Practitioner certificate or an equivalent one would be an added advantage.

Candidate having at least 4 years of experience in R&D Project Management in software industry is a must. Over industry experience that is expected is 7 years and above
