In this position you’ll become part of a team whose focus is safety first and continue advancement through collaborations. Help identify and implement projects focused on enhancing EHS. Develop your skills in understanding performance metrics and process improvement. Apply your educational knowledge to the real-world atmosphere.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Assist with all aspect of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability program.

• Serve as an EHS Champion in promoting ‘’Safety first’’ culture.

• Deliver EHS orientation training to new and temporary employees.

• Conduct proactive safety inspections and audits to identify potential risks

• Assist with investigations of incidents and near misses, ensure corrective actions are completed to minimize future exposure.

• Assist in conducting job safety analysis, ergonomic assessment and risk assessments as needed.

• To be engaged with production floor supervisors and employees on a regular basis; ability to be on your feet walking around the facility, indoors and out, at least 50% of time

• Assist with ISO14001/45001 EHS requirements and audit process for continued recertification.

• Manage all functions, including preparation of EHS invoices, data collection, and reporting, related to permits, requirements, or processes for air, water, and waste regulations.

• Special projects as required.

Our requirements:

• Knowledge of related agencies and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI)

• Proficiency in Microsoft office

• Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate the ability to follow -up on assigned tasks to completion.

• Excellent verbal and written skills to include technical writing.

• Strong interpersonal and presentations skills.

• Currently enrolled in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) or related degree program
