Key job responsibilities
* Design automated processes for in-depth data analysis.
* Design automated data control processes.
* Collaborate with the software development team to build and test the designed solutions.
* Learn, publish, analyze and improve management information dashboards, operational business metrics decks and key performance indicators.
* Improve tools, processes, scale existing solutions, create new solutions as required based on stakeholder needs.
* Perform campaign performance analysis and identify gaps & opportunities.A day in the life
* Deep dives into business datasets and campaign performance metrics.
* Leverage techniques from computer science and statistics to measure advertiser/end customer experience.
* Drive development of tools, reporting improvements, and automation, and create new innovative and insightful reports.
* Support the functional teams with ad hoc data requests and analytical needs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering)
- 6+ years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Data engineering or business intelligence within a technology company.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets
- 3+ years of experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash etc
- Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing Experience with SQL Server, Redshift, S3, EC2, etc.
