Your impact
Reporting to the Quality Manager and Construction Manager, the Civil / Structural Site Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with Project requirements, design specifications and drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. This includes regular inspections, and detailed documentation of site conditions and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site inspections and report findings.
- Respond to Contractor “Work Inspection Requests”, complete the required documentation and ensure timely issuance to the Contractor.
- Monitor and report on construction progress.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes and safety standards.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site supervisors.
- Maintain detailed site records and photographic documentation.
- Support pre-handover and snagging inspections to verify readiness for commissioning or delivery.
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
