Minimum Qualifications
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills along with a diligent mindset
- Solid understanding of audio technologies, applications and real-time audio systems
- Passion for authoring, reproduction or simply having quality audio experiences for any medium (music, movies, games, AR/VR, studio recording, live sound/performance, or communications)
- Skills to develop automation tools to help triage high volume of audio issues.
- Exemplary written communication skills, and considerate, yet confident personal communication skills
- BS or MS in CS, EE, or related, — or equivalent experience with an emphasis on digital audio technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with iOS and macOS SDK and Core Audio development.
- Experience with real-time interactive audio engines.
- Experience in critical listening and description of sonic artifacts (especially for spatial audio rendering, audio codecs, or communications systems).
- Experience in Python or other scripting tools, with working knowledge of C, C++, and Objective-C.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
