- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace / Mechatronics) or equivalent experience
- You know 3D CAD modelling systems and workflow
- You can apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) principles and drafting standards
- You have a good understanding of stress-strain relationships, static mechanics (determinate and indeterminate systems)
- Knowledge of kinematics and mechanism design
- Requires up to 25% international travel to support equipment design, deployment, and validation
- High volume electronics manufacturing equipment design, including structures, sheet metal, plastics, fixture/mechanism design, robotics, probe design, plating materials and thermal design is a plus
- UG NX experience preferred
- FEA (stress analysis) is highly desirable, and ANSYS is preferred
- Plastic part design, moulded part design are highly desirable
- Metal and plastic materials science, tribology, and wear principles are highly desirable
- Project and product management experience strongly preferred
