Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support forensic investigations into allegations of fraud, bribery, corruption, and other financial irregularities.
  • Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and transactional data to identify anomalies and suspicious patterns.
  • Collaborate with audit teams to provide forensic insights during assurance engagements.
  • Conduct interviews and gather evidence to build robust investigative findings.
  • Prepare detailed forensic reports suitable for legal and regulatory proceedings.
  • Assist clients in strengthening anti-fraud, anti-bribery, and compliance frameworks.
  • Apply forensic data analytics and technology tools to enhance investigations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and emerging financial crime trends.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals and client presentations.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong analytical and investigative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, audit methodologies, and fraud risk indicators.
  • Excellent communication skills (Portuguese and English), both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in complex situations.
  • Commercial acumen and interest in contributing to practice growth.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or forensic investigations.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFE are a plus.
  • Experience in consulting or Big Four environment is highly valued.
