This position will be responsible for providing financial support to Clear Aligners Operations segment in EMEA - manufacturing plant in Poland, in areas of Production Costing and Inventory controls.
In this role, you will…
- Manage inventory and related transactions, including physical to perpetual to general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, provide explanations to internal/external auditors
- Support Operations in Inventory management tasks including risk identification and mitigations
- Support of productivity improvements initiatives for PL Plant
- Analyze inventory adjustments and work with production control to determine root cause and corrective actions
- Manage the processes involving establishment of standard costs of new parts and the review and analysis of standard costs for existing parts
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of product cost data
- Cooperate with Global Costing Team in preparation and execution of quarterly standard cost rolls
- Monitor & report on production variances and other inefficiencies (e.g. scrap)
- Perform quarterly Inventory SOX controls (Cycle Counts, Shipment Audits, E&O, GIT) and propose corrective actions
- Provide cost accounting support to cross functional areas as requested
- And other ad-hoc Manufacturing Finance tasks
In this role, you’ll need …
- BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is required
- At least 4-6 years of progressive experience with mid to large manufacturing companies
- Thorough understanding of Cost & Inventory Accounting including standard costs and variances
- Proven experience in collaborating with Operations and other Finance Teams, building relationships, proactively communicating and maintaining a standard of excellence and best business practices
- Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with people from different cultures
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously with flexibility and agility, along with good business acumen and excellent organizational skills
- Possess a strong sense of integrity, commitment to details, and intensity to meet requirements on a timely basis
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Problem solver, strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Ability to work independently with effective organizational and time management skills
- Details- and results-oriented
- Excellent written and communication skills in English to work within local, cross-functional and international teams
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets
- Strong understanding of fully integrated ERP systems, working knowledge of SAP is a plus
