This, this requires the candidate to play a leadership role to redefine the E2E testing strategy and build a roadmap for processes, tools and skill sets within the quality engineering group for the program.


Roles and Responsibilities -
- Test Management

  • Manage the overall testing deliverable for Express Payments globally, by ensuring correct test planning and estimation, driving test automation, proactively identifying and highlighting risks to various stakeholders a senior management and suggesting mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery of high quality output.
  • Define the testing strategy which would be completely integrated within the development cycle and drive an iterative E2E testing methodology aligning with the agile adoption strategy.
  • Understanding the BOW and plan for delivery, resourcing and budgeting accordingly.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise by ensuring adequate testing coverage, highlighting issues and gaps with overall coverage.
  • Introduce and implement best practices and tools required for testing applications on AWS infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the vendor resources to ensure they are cross trained across applications and have a complete understanding of the various interactions within the eco system for a given End to End flow.
  • Coach and guide the vendor testing resources for their delivery, productivity and overall quality.
  • Coordinate and build a collaborative working relationship with the dev teams to ensure timely delivery of the program.
  • Responsible for budgeting, project estimates, task management & balancing prioritization across multiple streams of testing.

- Process Standardization

  • Define and implement standardized testing processes and artefacts.
  • Build synergy between the development and testing teams ensuring collaborative approach to test automation, discussions and exchange of best practices and ideas.
  • Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes; follows and analyzes industry trends.
  • Develops and implements methods for cost, effort and milestones of IT Quality activities. Strives for continuous improvements and streamlining of processes.

- Automation

  • Drive in sprint testing automation for the programs ensuring zero manual testing.
  • Implement a continuous testing and continuous regression model completely integrated within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Participate in designing the right architecture, model and tech stack for the automation framework.

- Qualifications:

  • Atleast 12 years IT Testing experience required
  • Excellent knowledge and wide ranging experience in implementing various software testing techniques and testing tools
  • In depth knowledge and expertise in Payments and Cash Management domain for corporate clients.
  • Good understanding of SWIFT ISO20022 messaging structure and formats.
  • Understanding of the payments landscape and working of various clearing schemes.
  • Experience in testing on AWS infrastructure.
  • Technically adept and thorough understanding of various automation tools in BDD format.
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence
  • Thorough understanding of end to end testing processes, Quality Center, JIRA and other testing related tools

- Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
