Advanced Systems Engineer will be integral in creating software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for software at every aspect of the life-cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

As part of the Anthem Flight Management Solutions team, you will be a working with the team assuring to meet all technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ultimately, supports certification requirements. You will coordinate with the team leader in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Avionics or embedded Systems development
  • Understanding of DO-178B/C
  • Understanding of ARP-4754
  • System requirement definition/testing
  • Verification test plan experience
  • ARINC 429 and signal debug capability
  • Testing and Integration on test benches in labs
  • Analytical skills & software development skills
  • System Verification and Validation
  • Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
  • Reports to: Sr Software Eng Manager

MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of system requirements and testing experience
  • Flight Management System or Flight Guidance Domain experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
