As a Critical Environment Engineer at our state-of-the-art data centers, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our facility’s critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in Critical infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures.
  • Experience handling relationships with third party vendors.
  • Knowledge or Experience working with HVAC/cooling systems.
  • Able to work on site 100% of the time.
  • Able to communicate in both English and Spanish in both written and spoken form. Upload your resume in English.
Responsibilities
  • In your CE Engineer role, you will be responsible for both power and cooling systems.
  • You’ll collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to plan and oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, elaborate and approve (MOP/SOP/EOP review, RCAs, FMEAs, change governance, and risk mitigation) activities and incident handling.
  • Ensure that our different providers comply with the SLAs and meet or exceed the highest Microsoft quality standards.
  • Demonstrates conscientiousness on cost adheres to budget requirements; keeps costs reasonable and contributes to staying within budget.
  • Follows and adheres to safety and security policies and procedures. Reports immediately any safety or security issues or concerns.
  • Reduce high-impact and human-error Critical Environment (CE) incidents year over year
  • Deliver on cost/energy efficiency initiatives
