About the role:

The Payroll Process Analyst I, Payroll supports the Payroll Supervisor in all special projects and company initiatives that impact the Payroll organization. The Payroll Process Analyst I, Payroll works independently and applies basic payroll principles and knowledge to ensure standard operating procedures are followed, compliance to all local legal requirements related to payroll, and manages payroll efficiency and accuracy initiatives. Primary responsibilities for this position include pay results validation and confirmation using applied audit principles and designed controls. Develop, manage and implement continuous process improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure all site staff are paid on time, correctly, in full and in compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Assist on expatriate payroll processing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Statutory/SOX and Company legislation/policy.
  • Support in Payroll End month closed activities.
  • Provide reports in relation to the Payroll function.
  • To establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area.
  • Enter any manual data needed such as cost centers, badges, shift patterns, work centers, request the set-up Kronos paycodes to corporate team and ensure the correct paycodes are used by employees/supervisors, ensuring timecards are signed off timely.
  • Site administrator of Kronos time and recording system. Expert on Kronos rules and how they relate to employee payment, set up new rules and maintenance. Training of site supervisors on Kronos. Support annual system maintenance, system upgrades and updates.
  • Develop non-standard reports in conjunction with the Kronos IT team as required to run the business.
  • New hire orientation presentation.
  • Perform the payroll cycle payments according to each payroll type. (Weekly, semimonthly, interns, Sales, etc)
  • Manage the payroll software such as payroll calculations, severance payments, generate salary letters, reports, bank accounts)

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor or Licenciature degree in Accounting, Finance
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in Payroll
  • English Level desired: 70%
  • "Excel skills ", Microsoft Office Package, Payroll Software
