As a Marketing Operations Specialist/Associate, you will own the deployment of multi-channel campaigns in SAP’s marketing landscape, having two major systems: Marketo and SAP Marketing Cloud (SMC). You will own the execution of the strategic Integrated Demand Plans (IDPs), as well as other programs and campaigns for smaller and larger projects, such as email invites to Tier-1 & Tier-2 events or promotional emails for various SAP solutions. Deliverables include emails, nurture streams, subscriptions, newsletters, and various other components of multi-channel campaigns, as well as ensuring the accuracy of the final product with a rigorous quality assurance process. Also, you will be responsible for assisting with Webinars on the On24 platform, setting up the webinars in the platform, helping stakeholders with the console orientation and providing live webinar support. Working closely with the Program Architects in our team, you will participate in team meetings preparing the campaigns and providing input and guidance on the marketing tactics. As part of a larger project team, you will implement industry best practices and continuous measurement and optimization of the outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish partnership with Program Architects and various stakeholders for strategy and design of digital marketing programs.
  • Stay curious and keep your knowledge up to date on all systems and processes involved to be a go-to person for your customers.
  • Understand detailed requests from stakeholders in marketing teams, synthesize information and ensure it aligns with project goal and intent.
  • Produce marketing campaign assets including HTML emails, nurture streams, and other components of Marketing Automation campaigns in Marketo and SMC.
  • Perform thorough Quality Assurance, understand data compliance rules/guidelines (ex: GDPR).
  • Provide support with Webinars on the On24 platform.
  • Make recommendations to improve the efficiency of program build/design based on the Marketo capabilities.
  • Report on campaign performance, including results of any tests.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • You should be a well-organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven person, who enjoys problem solving and possesses strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn and master technical skills quickly and be a team player who works well with others on projects.
  • Outstanding attention to details to drive flawless execution and manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
  • Ability to manage key initiatives and conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English is required, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Other languages are of advantage.
  • Ability and willingness for constant learning in a fast-moving environment of new systems and processes is important.
  • Fundamental Marketing knowledge, especially around larger companies is very welcome, but not mandatory.
  • Marketing Automation background (Marketo, SAP Marketing Cloud or other industry marketing automation platforms) is of great benefit.
