Responsibilities

The representative task will be as follows.

  • New models launch related task (List-up the key strategy and launch coordination after Product Launch briefing from Japan HQ. Based on the alignment with HQ and Sony Electronics Imaging Solutions team, optimize the key messaging and consolidate productintroduction/briefing/trainingmaterial for US/Canada stakeholders e.g.Media/Influencer/Dealerand End-customer. Product specification and asset preparation for NDA base product intro/registration process with Dealers. Product Sample units’ quantity and allocation planning for seeding / supporting event execution.)

  • Competitive analysis and product strategy building (Monitor both Sony and competitor’s Camera Body & Lens line-up, test to deepen understanding of our product strength as well as weakness and consolidate the information as the comparison. Proactively share the information to Business Management team for further strategy optimization.)

  • Product Training for both Sony internal/external people (Sony internal: Marketing/Sales/CET team for proper product strategy and execution plan alignment with deep understanding of product feature / External: Dealer/End-customer education to convince the benefit of the Sony products & service quality and support their decision making for purchasing the best product from our suggestion)

  • Technical feedback (Work closely with Marketing, Media, Service and field teams to provide technical assistance and knowledgebase. Reply and control technical group chats for PRO Support and Imaging Solutions Sales teams. Provide necessary technical feedback to Japan HQ team that is received from US/Canada field.

  • Tradeshow, Event, Workshop attend (Explain and demonstrate the products directly to customer and contribute for business enhancement. Collecting VOC and share findings / insights to both Sony Electronics and HQ team for further strengthen the next action)

  • Business Travel approximate 25% (New product launch period briefing, Tradeshow, Local Dealer Events etc. with product presentation and demonstration set-up)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Engineering or Business-related degree with a concentration in data analytics, data science, business analytics, mathematics, economics, or statistics is preferred

  • 5-7 years of related working experience in Camera industry (Either Product Management role or Professionalphotography/videographyshooting background)

  • Strong analytical background and product savvy

  • Advanced Power Point and Editing Photo/Video proficiency

  • Experience with market and customer segmentation analysis, deriving insights from VOC towards identifying behavioral and purchasing trends

  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid oral and written communication skills, and professional presentation skills

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and take initiative within the team

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry or a similar industry, with a working knowledge of concepts related to online and brick-and-mortar executions such as traffic, sales conversion rates, market seasonality, promotional seasonality, and market trends is strongly preferred

  • Experience with designing, implementing, and reviewing results from surveys related to customer journey, customer satisfaction, NPS, and other related fields

  • Demonstrable experience with data cleansing, linking different source of information into a comprehensive product briefing material.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,108 to $148,143. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
