What You Will Accomplish:What You Will Bring:
- The financial analysis related to losses on eBay Shipping Programs (eBay International Send/eBay Managed Delivery) and Operating Expenses for the Risk & Compliance Organization.
- Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets by collaborating with multiple business divisions in Expense Management and Wall Street P&L Reporting.
- Build time series models to forecast claim counts enabling Payments Customer Service team in workforce management.
- Conducting analytical deep dives to understand key drivers of performance and highlight opportunities directly impacting losses.
- Developing end to end analytical and financial view on everything related Risk & Compliance operating expenses as well as transaction losses on eBay managed shipping programs.
- Partner to trust teams to develop committed insights and provide recommendations to limit losses and improve trust on eBay
- Driving accountability with partners by measuring results against plan and helping to ensure the financial safety of the company
- Dedication to working our Hybrid Model with 3+ days on site per week in either our San Jose, CA office or our Austin, TX office
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Finance and Analytics experience.
- Possess an outstanding grasp of business needs and priorities, quantitative proficiency, problem solving & comprehending sophisticated problems
- This person must have a good understanding of end-to-end analytics – problem definition, collating the required information, analyzing the results, and communicating a compelling argument that influences collaborators to act
- Experience with financial modeling, analytical methodologies and testing
- Sophisticated Excel and Intermediate PowerPoint skills
- Prior forecasting or performance analysis experience a plus
- SQL mastery required.
- R, Python and SAS experience a plus
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
