Responsibilities

  • Manage a lab containing a large number of AW stand-alone systems (Servers & Workstations) across MI, CT, MR, and Interventional
  • Maintain systems via regular load-from-colds, platform software updates 2-3x/yr, application software updates 3-4x/yr
  • Troubleshoot software issues, networking issues, hardware issues, spare parts repair, and perform general hardware maintenance
  • Ensure all systems are specified to support various software releases, IP addresses are provided to authorized users, log-ins are provided/maintained appropriately
  • Prepare servers for shipment to various non-GEHC sites including, but not limited to, field applications training, product evaluations, conferences, academic courses, customer demos, etc.
  • For external uses, set up user accounts, specify appropriately sized system based on number of users, load appropriate software licenses and releases given mix of event or training content
  • Load and ship systems within North America working with FedEx, DHL, Champion, and Waukesha shipping bay teams
  • Coordinate laptop configurations with AW Servers prior to shipping to external events
  • Help with internal purchases by placing purchase orders with suppliers and accepting delivery of equipment, loading software onto systems, and installing across Waukesha-area office locations
  • Receive product back from external events including documentation closure, cleanse disc drives, and restore to full working function, ready to deploy for next external event
  • Configure and maintain licensing tools for multiple products (AW, AW Server, CT, MR, MI, Interventional)
  • Troubleshoot licensing tool issues as they arise
  • Support AW & CT Service Engineering teams by participating in service validation, service dry runs, service procedure sanity testing, and providing feedback to engineering

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field
  • Minimum 4 years experience in engineering, service, or other technical field
  • Technical skills to troubleshoot hardware, software, or networking problems
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds overhead without accommodation
