Your key responsibilities
You’ll spend most of your time working with a wide variety of clients to deliver the latest data science and big data technologies and practices to design, build and maintain scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich and analyze data from multiple sources.
Skills and attributes for success
- Applying data and statistical analysis techniques like hypothesis testing, segmentation, and modelling to analyze large amounts of data
- Helping our clients make data-driven decisions by working with structured and unstructured data sets, building out predictive models and advising our clients on data strategy leading practices
- Building and applying data analysis algorithms (data mining, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, text mining, etc.) as appropriate
- Designing, architecting, and developing solutions leveraging big data technology (Open Source, Hortonworks, AWS or Microsoft) to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets to exceed business requirements
- Experience with back-end development (Python, FastAPI or similar)
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Vercel etc.
- Experience developing, maintaining and improving web applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Svelte, Vue, Remix/React Router, etc.)
- Experience working with designers, product managers, AI/ML engineers to create intelligent user experience
- Experience writing tests, participating in code reviews
- Seeking out information to learn about emerging methodologies and technologies
- Clarifying problems by driving to understand the true issue
- Looking for opportunities for improving methods and outcomes
- Collaborating, influencing, and building consensus through constructive relationships and effective listening
- Solving problems by incorporating data into decision making
- Experience with business development and mentoring junior and mid-level team members
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- At least 10+ years of data analytics experience
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or related disciplines
- Secret Clearance
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and AI inference optimizations
- Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights
What we offer you
- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $325,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,100 to $370,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
