As a LOB Risk Expert within PNC's Corporate Asset & Liability Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.  Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
•Strong communicator with proven ability to communicate with executive and senior management, and work cross functionally with senior leaders in different business units and support functions to drive outcomes.
•Ability to work independently, formulate clear and concise analysis and communicate results to all levels of management.
•Coordinate First line of defense risk management functions for key Risk Assessment Units with ALM.
•Act as primary resource for ALM subject matter experts on assessing and documenting applicable risks and controls through the Enterprise Risk Management Risk Control Self Assessment framework.
•Oversee the Issues Management function for ALM Risk Assessment Units to ensure appropriate. Issue identification, review, remediation, and documentation.
•Facilitate ALM assessment of ongoing and upcoming regulatory change, including in-depth reviews of potential impact and preparation. Additionally, acts as coordinator for change management initiatives within ALM for several key projects.•Provide regulatory exam support and coordination for ALM business areas, interacting with the FRB, OCC, NFA, and FHLB.
Job Description
  • Responsible for the establishment and oversight of Line of Business risk strategies and program execution. Serves as a senior risk advocate for the risk management program, process owner and/or regulatory relationship liaison.
  • Establishes the line of business risk management strategies and programs, maintains and enhances existing programs to support the business(es) in managing risk while meeting business and regulatory expectations.
  • Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business. Owns process and/or regulatory relationship liason.
  • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.
  • Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities.

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required.
