The role assists clients, Event managers, producers and other project requesters on the most effective approaches and methods of implementation. The role should be able to:
• Rapidly solve problems and make decisions during live events
• Recognize potential issues and make decisions that balance the need to meet deadlines and still meet project requirements
• Identify opportunities for repurposing content for additional audiences or enhancing consumption of the message by the target audience
Your Key Responsibilities
• Work hand in hand with Webcasting Producers and Event Managers
• Assist with client consultation to determine if a webcast is the appropriate communications vehicle for the message
• Assist with managing the client relationship and/or coordinate with the project manager, acting as the single point of contact for the deliverable
• Organize and coordinate all tasks related to the project deliverable, performing tasks or identifying and delegating to other resources, including the director, actors, technicians and other contractors, as well as video editors and engineers, as appropriate
• Maintain task ownership and accountability, making sure that all tasks are completed correctly and on time
• Prepare budget and timeline estimates for project deliverables; assist in tracking expenditures and status; regularly update the project manager or client on any changes
• Assist and learn from other producers as appropriate
• Comply in a timely manner with firm and BMC standards and procedures, including visual identity (branding), the SCORE approval process, project management, billing and time tracking
• Support methods for driving innovation and change across the organization
• Take an organizational-level view of implications; manage competing forces and drive understanding, motivation and stakeholder value
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the geographies and Regions
Skills and attributes for success
• Demonstrate knowledge & experience of Webcast/Video production technologies (Shoflo, Kaltura)
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least a few of the following: After Effects, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Demonstrate competency in at least a few of the following: HTML/XML/XSLT, JavaScript, audio/video editing,
• Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies rapidly and frequently
• Direct other production crew and staff in production tasks (e.g., composition, lighting, staging, use of webcast technology)
• Show initiative, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrate reliability
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to manage several projects concurrently; demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills
• Be a strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
• Demonstrate excellent communication and networking experience and skills in a wide range of situations and with people at all levels within the organization, including global leadership
Technologies and Tools
• Webcast Tools – MS Teams, Shoflo, Kaltura
• Video production technologies and Broadcasting/Streaming platform experience
To qualify for the role, you must have
• Good communication abilities
• Significant relevant experience on webcast production, broadcasting and streaming tools & virtual event platforms
• Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships in BMC and beyond
• Ability to challenge views and perspectives without harming his or her own acceptance within BMC and beyond
• Experience managing complex global programs
• Experience working as part of diverse and virtual high-performance teams
• Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders
