At Jacobs, we’re transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutions designing the future - today. As an Engineering Intern in St. Louis, Missouri, you will too.
Your Impact
As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal and industrial clients’ water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide. You’ll be assisting with the design of water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater plants, and conveyance systems. You will partner with our engineers to assist in pipe sizing calculations, pump selections, process facility sizing (e.g. primary, secondary, tertiary, and solids handling equipment), instrumentation and controls selection, and hydraulic modeling. Some local travel to active construction projects may be part of your internship experience.
In addition to your work on water and wastewater teams across the country, you will collaborate with other local St. Louis interns throughout the summer. You will have the opportunity to connect with and work alongside interns from different disciplines as you complete various projects.
