As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase in Corporate Technology – Corporate Data & Analytics, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Job responsibilities

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals

  • Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery

  • Monitors project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
  • Identifies and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
  • Analyzes and breakdown complex business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Creates and maintains a comprehensive roadmap for effective communication, integrating it with strategic priorities and strategies to enhance communication across a large-scale technology organization.
  • Prepares impactful executive presentations and manage communication channels by coordinating the design and publication of meaningful content, project findings, and reports to support execution of organizational data strategy
  • Participates in stakeholder management, fostering productive working relationships with cross-functional teams and clients to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Assesses and analyze complex technology change challenges and determine strategic approach to execute across the technology organization.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
  • Able to work autonomously to affect change - flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills with the ability to present and explain information concisely tailored to a target audience
  • Proven ability to lead through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
  • Experience with tools used to produce documentation, stakeholder communications, and track program metrics (Jira, Confluence, Teams, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel)
  • Experience taking complex and ambiguous information and refining it into meaningful content and clear action plans
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track

  • Fluent in Agile methodology
  • Experience in data warehouse, data lake, data mesh related projects
  • Experience in data governance, control processes
