In this role you will partner with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, controls, AIML, and embedded FW engineers to realize sensor system designs.Responsibilities include:Drive system level sensor specification definitionElectrical system architecture and tradeoff analysisElectrical design, including flexes and PCBAsPrototype, evaluate, develop, and harden designsClose collaboration with cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS. or MS in electrical engineering or similar field
  • 5+ years of hands-on electrical and sensor system design experience, including touch, magnetic, and optical based sensing
  • Experience selecting and integrating electronics and sensors in novel architectures
  • Strong electrical engineering analytical skills
  • Experience developing system architecture, sensor systems analysis, and modeling.
  • Strong fundamentals in sensors and the impact of impairments on sensor performance.
  • Exceptional HW/SW problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments at once
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in electrical engineering or similar field
  • Experience leading teams through product development cycle from concept development to production bring up
  • Large scale data analysis and knowledge of statistical techniques
  • Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
