Key job responsibilities
• Lead technical pre-sales conversations with AWS customers. Help them define cloud operating models that leverage AWS services and align to AWS operational and security best practices.• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.• Provide advanced technical and operational knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.• Act as a thought leader and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking at events such as AWS Summit and re:Invent.• Partner with business development peers to define the technical components of best-in-class Go-To-Market (GTM) concepts, solutions, and initiatives.• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate operational best practices into customer architectures.About the team

- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort writing technical documents.
