Description
The in-region EPM will be responsible for managing the prototype builds of accessory products, utilizing program/project management skills to drive program schedule and resolve technical issues that enable on-time delivery. Role encompasses interfacing with EE, PD, DFM & module teas. Driving the full product life cycle as well as managing vendors who deliver strategic solutions.- Planning and execution of build events, including material planning and factory readiness
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing complex hardware product schedules and engineering builds down to the small details
- Bachelor degree above in EE, ME or equivalent engineering background in technical filed.
- 5+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics
- 3+ years of project management experience
- OEM/ODM management experience
- Proactive and highly self-motivated; demonstrates critical thinking capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm when facing of uncertainty
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically
- Understand high-volume manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- History of managing go to market activities
- Ability to think strategically, while driving tactical details
- Experience working with teams of diverse technical backgrounds and quickly learning from them
