Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead new Cloud Networking solutions, where solution is currently not available for Citi's use

• Lead on-prem to Cloud network engineering and development - working in collaboration with the Cloud team

• Deliver the automation and capabilities needed to enable Cloud Network Services

• Provide developer-friendly cloud onboarding, account creation and management for supported cloud providers

• Ensure compliance to regulations and policy by implementing accurate requirements traceability

• Provide cloud network services to enable a fast and resilient hybrid cloud with built in security capabilities

• Develop, cascade and enforce engineering best practices using modern SDLC that enables CI/CD and favors automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure and policy as code

• Provide technical leadership in the design of highly complex cloud systems

Skills and Experiences:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering role

• Understanding of public cloud services adoption at scale.

• Expert level understanding of AWS/GCP native networking services such as AWS Transit Gateway, GCP Shared VPC, AWS Route53, GCP Cloud DNS, etc.

• Hands on experience with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and DevOps frameworks (Jenkins, LighSpeed, GitHub).

• Work with software development Citi's Cloud Networking Solution CNS (middleware platform developed in Java/Spring Boot), experience in Python, Golang is highly desirable

• Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) understanding.

• Familiarity with Agile Development, DevOps and SRE practices.

• Experience evaluating complex requirements and rationalizing into a consistent service offering.

• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, and Electronics as field of study.
