What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Troubleshoot control-related issues with PLC, HMI, servo drives, VFD, and related sensors
- Review electrical schematics to perform controls and electrical tasks according to engineering design
- Collaborate with stakeholders (process, equipment, maintenance) to determine task requirements and scheduling
- Maintain good practices during control project execution, following procedures and providing timely updates to associated teams
- Order and track control-related parts as needed
- Conduct field tests (FAT, SAT) according to test protocols
- Maintain control software according to established procedures
- Present troubleshooting findings and conduct deep dives to identify root causes
- Make suggestions for improvements based on troubleshooting results
- Provide timely updates to associated teams on project status and troubleshooting progress
- 3-7 years engineering experience in automation controls and instrumentation field
- Experience in one or more of the following PLC systems: Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, or Allen Bradley
- Experience in motion and process controls
- Field experiences troubleshooting end-to-end controls, including power distribution, electrical components and instruments, PLCs, and HMIs
- Experience in industrial communication protocols – Ethernet, RS232/485, EtherCAT, and/or Profinet
- Basic knowledge of NFPA70, NFPA76, UL508A, and ISA
- Basic understanding in electrical design using AutoCAD or Eplan
