Minimum Qualifications
  • Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field, but if you’ve followed a different path to expertise in acoustics, vibration, noise control, we still want to hear from you
  • A lover of learning new tools and software packages as needed
  • A creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong background in structural dynamics, with 2+ years of experience in the noise/vibration field
  • Extensive experience with simulation packages, such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, Virtual-Lab, COMSOL, Maxwell...
  • Experience in coupled structural dynamics, acoustics simulation
  • Experience in product noise & vibration root cause identification
  • Some experience in non-linear systems, including material and geometry non-linearity
  • Some experience in developing tools for post-processing of simulation or experimental results
  • Simulation experience in electro-magnetics and/or statistical energy analysis is a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $128,300 and $193,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
