The Employee Relations HR Ethics Office Liaison Analyst performs critical tasks supporting the management of Citi’s global processes to address escalated Human Resources and Employee Relations issues. The position is responsible for database management, including issue categorization and distribution, along with maintaining responsibility for compliance procedures and limited reporting/analysis of data. The role reviews all concerns received, updates applicable databases, escalates concerns as needed, and provides support to a global network of Employee Relations and Human Resources professionals.
Successful candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills along with a strong attention to detail. In addition, the position operates in a rapidly moving environment that requires management of multiple priorities and the flexibility to quickly adapt to change.
Case & Database Management
- Maintain Employee Relations database of assigned matters consistent with ER documentation requirements to ensure data integrity and timely updates
- Enter/update matters as needed to correctly reflect the following within the required timeframes: Matter categorization and level, Organizational detail (GOC), Complainant and Subject detail, Investigator and HR Legal detail, Allegations raised regarding each subject, Upload all matter submissions and any other relevant documents as needed
- Update the Case Managment System (CMS) as needed and escalate any data feed issues
- Identify and escalate matters requiring additional review or special handling
- Make initial assignment of matter categorization and level
- Determine proper distribution of newly received matters based on business, cluster, and subject matter
- Distribute matters to appropriate recipients and update database with assigned investigator
- Process the closure of matters, as applicable, once all required approvals are obtained
Anti-Retaliation Oversight Group (AROG) Administration
- Track and apply sampling methodology to identify matters selected for presentation to AROG
- Coordinate scheduling of selected matters
- Take meeting minutes of AROG discussion and decisions
- Ensure required follow-up actions are completed and close cases as applicable
Reporting and Analysis
- Produce and respond to reporting requests from relevant stakeholders (Ethics Office, HRRC, ER Cluster Heads, etc.), including case step reports and aging data
- Reconcile ER data with Ethics Office reports
- Draft presentations to display analytical information related to case volumes and types
Other
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key partners, resources and stakeholders
- Respond to basic inquiries from investigators and the Ethics Office
- Follow-up with investigators and cluster contacts on behalf of managers and/or the Ethics Office
- Identify process enhancements and participate in project management of applicable initiatives

- Knowledge and experience with Excel formulas and functions

- Basic knowledge of Human Resources principles and employment policies

- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (CMS / Service Now a plus)
- Experience drafting database queries
- Experience with basic statistical analysis and report development
